Lady at my work asked if wanted some fire wood.
    Sure. What do you have?
Pear tree. Just need to cut it down.
    Ok. Get me a pic.

I told her, get it on the ground, I will
be more than happy to haul it away.

Ridiculous...It amazes me that people allow trees like this to get to that point. If that were in my yard against my house it would've been pulled when it was 6 inches high.

I have a similar situation with 3 or 4 maples between my garage and growing against my neighbor's house. Trees are on her property, and I just bought my house last year. Probably 6" diameter at most, but basically weeds that nobody ever pulled and now they are trees. People's ideas of property maintenance really aggravate me sometimes. Oh, and not to mention they are scattered between six 70-80' tall white pines, on her property but supposedly planted by the original owner of my house...AGAIN, trees that should have never been planted.

Oh c'mon don't be a wimp! If it were Oak would you do it? LOL just kidding. It amazes me how ignorant people are about tree's. "Hey c'mon by with your saw and your truck and take my problem away." That's a $2000.00 tree in my neck of the woods. The issue I have with this is someone with a truck and a saw may just be ignorant enough to take this little gem on and hurt somebody. :hair:

Could set a record for broken windows by a single tree! That ought to be enticing...

Easily. She is going to need a really big highboy to get in there.

    All those are thermopane windows.
She told me one was broken in the hail we had last May....
    $2200 to replace it.

Maybe if it was one of those “highly valuable” walnut trees!

I had a guy tell me that if You call your homeowners insurance and tell them that you have a tree like that they will contribute to the cost off getting it down to avoid a higher pay out later. Strong possibity he was full of you know what .

Free heat for the whole winter too LOL. What a CF. I'm not sure I'd even drag that out after it's down.

If nearby, I'd pull up a chair, with a flask and cigar, sit back and watch.

FAR OUT!! We rented a place 1990-1991 with the same windows and same color house. Blast from the past, but it was way north from Denver and did not have neighbors nor land to build on. Must have been similar era or builder.

And a bib, for the whopper amount of spittle for the ridiculous laughter that would ensue after such a tirade. I see this one as a “felling/chainsaw failures” vid on the YT.
