We bought from this outfit a few years ago, wood was totally seasoned, nice and dry. 16' logs $85/cord:dex:. They do not buck anymore but those are excellent prices out here.

WWW says its too muddy here from all the snow to get the big dump trailer in here this weekend for the 16' ( :picard: I wouldnt know, have not been out there in a very very long time), so I might go in the duramax and get some of the few 8' logs they have. We have *some* (3 yr lodgepole, tinder dry) wood for next winter, guessing these are seasoned and dry as well, perfect.

    :handshake:

If you can handle 8 foot logs, why not buy a few 16 footers and cut them in half right there in the yard so they can load them for you?

Thanks old man, excellent suggestion!! I am guessing if they do run out of 8' lengths, they might actually do that for me for a few dollars:) Very nice people. Plus they load in my truck with a backhoe, how cool is that!

I thought if you brought your own saw they would just have to load for you.

 I can barely lift hubbys saw and no way I could run it now. :emb: But, still an excellent suggestion for normal people:)

I'd say so. Pretty crooked for fence posts.

Those are for when the fence is curved! :D
But as it is out west, most fences are in straight lines....

Of course I never made it out there, typical for me, I don't even remember the last time I went to town:rofl:  He is still advertising, called again, this time he is willing to deliver! 4 cords coming in two weeks. WWW will get it bucked eventually, I am guessing they are already dry (seasoned) like the last time we bought from them, I doubt we will need them til 2017 anyway. Cool Beans!!:dex:

His text said $85 delivered but I am 18 miles out of town, so I expect to pay an additional 50 or 100, or ..... maybe not?

LOLOL, wouldn't it be cool to get another 4 cords to lay wood roads like JustWood lays for heavy equipment:rofl: :rofl:

Absolutely:) We are now 80% + pellet stove heat now, this wood should last several years for wicked cold months or power outages:)
