This afternoon, I had some motivation to get out and do some work in my backyard. Moved some stuff that often gets blown around...pallets need to be taken to my fair lady for her wood piles to keep them off the ground so trying to dry those out a bit. It’s sunny here, warm but chilly as well. Now here’s the admission part: I gave wood Away. Technically I gave it back. I loaded up my wood hauler with these mix of trimmings and boards that were really in the free bin to begin with. With the cold weather around here for the next week at least....I know someone can benefit this more than I. It just looked pitiful not being useful.
Very thoughtful of you sir. Here's hoping it is put to good use by someone in need. Man, I love this place!
Thanks. Someday I’m looking forward to really giving back. A real one. With opportunity, I will be happy when that pops up.
For about the last five years, I've been giving a wood burner Vietnam Vet guy down the road from me a trailer load of ready to burn oak. He is having some real problems but for one afternoon a year I hope he has a good day
