    ironpony Glad to hear it went pretty smoothly for you. :thumbs:
    I didn't figure you'd have too much trouble, but you never know what can go wrong at the worst times.

    Eric VW I would definitely save my money and buy/rent the crimp tool and go with the crimp connectors. The Sharkbite's are great.. but way too expensive.
    I am not :makeitrain"that guy.

    As I posted above, I have the “sprinkler” type crimper and rings already...

    Tried and true although not blue...handled... my crimpers have been used to plumb dozens of radiant systems and numerous swaps to PEX from Cu. Never failed once.:yes:

    I used PEX for the first time ever when I built my new place two years ago...I love working with it! I still can't believe how great and easy it is...I also found it to be really fun...and a huge time saver!
