I probably did a bad search job but has anyone done the kit saw of a Huztl 365/372 and documented it here? At about $110 I couldn't pass up their present sale. If this saw goes together as well as the Huztl MS 660 that I did, I will be happy.

Yes there are other places where they discuss chain saws. I would prefer to find what I am looking for here if I can though. I rather enjoy this place when I am in a wood/saw mood.

Czed Dave has 5 or 6 of them. He'll be along shortly to let you know what's good and what should be replaced

    No expert lol
I've only built one huztl 372 big bore
The rest were 365 built saw's
    I converted to 372s.
All of the supplied china fuel and pulse
    Line's have failed.
I swapped them out for echo 3x6mm
    Fuel line.
Intake boots and seals have been fine.
I broke several starter ropes so i bought
A roll of true blue 4.5.
Cut most of the "g"off the circlips
They are a common weak point
    Oem circlips are preferred.
The china pistons have held up great
    The rings no
I swap them out for cabers or oem
1.2 for the double ring pistons.
1.5 for the 268 and 272 popup pistons
I use in some of mine.
I used motoseal on the case gasket
And to delete the base gasket.
The china crank bearings have held up
    Great.
Some use nachi skf or fag bearings. 20180618_184707.jpg 20180616_192048.jpg 20180625_184109.jpg 20180326_124138.jpg
No problem after that I've been cutting for a year with them
Not oem but well worth it to me

20180623_154315.jpg 20180623_144658.jpg The wrist pin bearings at least on mine
    Are odd
They are larger diameter than oem.
But the id is the same.
    They resemble clutch bearings
    Just longer.
So i bought oem clutch bearings
And used them as wp bearings.
    The bottom bearing is oem.
    The farmer tec/huztl cylinders
    Usually are good to go
    Check for sharp port edges
    And casting flash.
The squish is usually more than
    Oem.
    That's why i run popups
    To get good comp.

Wow czed! Way to go. Talk about getting things dialed in! If that isn't professional, I don't know what is. You deserve a salute.:salute:
I usually lack the patience when switching from OEM, to unknown.

    Czed has me covered

A lot of what I have read he covered with the weak points. So some small upgrades to certain items and they seem to run pretty good.

It is like $250 plus shipping from HL. $80 isn't bad for shipping a saw around the world, it just makes more than I want to spend on it right now. It will turn into $300 by the time I do a few upgrades and get a bar and chain.

No pop up piston for me. I just want to build a basic saw.

Right now the 372 kit is on sale at Huztl for 110 plus about 80 shipping. It is not the 250+ that 94bullit noted. I have to agree that the B&C will add to the total 190 that I have spent so far.

    Once you learn these saw's
    They are a money maker
Buy oem saw's that need rebuilt
    And flip them.
    I'm doing this 99 371xp
It's getting a meteor with cabers
    Fuel and pulse echo line.
China Seals muffler and throttle cable.
    Rebuilding this for a friend.
    He painted the bar orange
And it stuck to the bar plate lol 20180628_144458.jpg 20180628_151436.jpg 20180628_151016.jpg 20180628_162705.jpg 20180628_172652.jpg one of the fastest saw's to rebuild as well
