    Maybe they would be if the wood was stacked tight in there, because it looks like theyre 4x4x4, but it looks to be just thrown in

    Looks familiar. The 4th picture is one of the bags on a pallet. The pallet is much larger than the bag. No way can that bag be a 4' cube. Maybe 3' meaning it is less than 1/4 of a cord.

    I sell a small amount of firewood and take moisture meter readings for customers. This way they know what they are getting. I think it's a good practice and we will see more and more people doing it unless they are trying to hide something. I also sell green wood to some people that are buying for next year or the year after in some cases. This forum seems pretty cool.

    Thank You. I have a 1985 Suburban Woodchief Wood Heater. I cleaned it all up inside and out. Repainted the outside and it looks new again. It does a great job and is my solo heat source for the winter. Burned wood at my family home growing up back in the North East. I enjoy it more than ever.
