with applicable taxes and fees (as they like to say), $85.25 with unlimited North American Long Distance.
Mediacom keeps offering to add a "land line" with unlimited long distance for $5. That would be in addition to our existing internet service.
$20/month for the landline on my ATT wireless account. Little wireless box . Works off cellular signal.
I use VOIP, Vonage. 911 works and it uses my internet (DSL). It is less than 20 a month. But, I have a minimum set up - (under 200 minutes?) and I still don't use them all.
Have never had a landline since I moved out of my parents house 13 years ago. Unless you have no cell signal and no constant on internet connection, what's the point?
$69.10/ month from Windstream. My 88 Y.O. Dad who retired after 32 years with the phone company has free phone service for life! We finally talked him & mom into getting a cell phone to take with them in the car.
I guess I should have mentioned that is pretty much my situation. I have limited verizon signal, great for texting, but not great for talking.
$50 i think...tryn to get the ol lady to cut the cord....she wont..i dont git it...btw...4 cell phones in the house
I'm honestly embarrassed to say how much we pay for our bundle. Time Warner internet, phone, and cable is ridiculous once your promotion expires. We don't get very good cell signal at the house so a land line is a must according to the house boss.
$20 a month through Verizon, and I can hook it up to my existing phones in the house and I can take it with when I go on vacation.
We pay around $101 per month; $50 of that is Internet. Same company we had when we got married. Then it was $3 per month with no Internet and we go billed once every 3 months. So every so often we had to pay a $10 phone bill. Things do change.
I am at $215/ month for tv, internet, and landline. I keep looking for a way to reduce it, that's a lot of $$ in my mind. Maybe I am just behind in the times. Edit, I have limited options.
We have a cell phone range extender doohickey box thing that uses our internet connection to provide better cell service at the house. We don't have cable or satellite and only pay the cable company for Internet. With the Hulu and Netflix subscriptions, all in all is well under $100 a month. Our cell phones are under family plans so we pay relatively little there too.
Ever try to send or receive a fax on a cell? My wife works at home so we keep the land line for faxing. I wish there was a way to get rid of it.(?)
Same here, landline, internet and 2 cell phones bundled for $215. a month. Satellite TV another $116 p/m. Would love to ditch the land line but the cell service here is marginal and I also need to be able to call into the states. So, have to swallow it.
I used fax via computer many years ago, both computer docs and through the printer/scanner I had. It was a windows option, any use to your wife?
