Come with the golden colored diaphrams that look like they have a woven appearance? The kit I just got the only one that matched was that color and not black like the original. It feels like a different material as well. This is an aftermarket kit for walbro. It seems like I tried to use this type before and it would not run till I put the old one back in? We will see though. Just curious.
A lot of kits come with them now. Some come with all the parts and others don't have new levers and stuff.
This is the diaphragm kit not the one with all the things like the screen, needle and arm and shard and spring. This is for my earthquake 4518 that had a wonky run to it. It would blog then race the flood out like when under throttle. Saw a fuel leak and it was the line to the primer. So I pulled it and put screws in both lines to cap them. Still all erratic after adjusting carb. Pulled it and the screen had dust all on it so I cleaned it and put it back to geather and still same. Finally got around to building the carb and now I can't even get it cranked??? I used the gold gasket thing on the opposite side from the diaphragm. I took it back apart and used the OE one on that side and still nothing I have the screws one turn out each to start with but maye will turn them out 1.5-2 turns maybe thats it? Need to see if the manual or one for a GZ4500 says what the screw settings are. This carb and plastic hood are the worst ones to get off on I have ever messed with!!! Takes forever to get it all lined up. I know its a fuel delivery issue. Saw has just a hand full of tanks through it so I dont really suspect anything else.
Yep. I also started the earthquake thread I guess the two threads should be merged. Calling a modd. See the other thread. I gave up for the night. I am head scratching at this point.
DexterDay or MasterMech or Grizzly Adam Could you somehow merge this thread with the thread I created about my earthquake. The other title could remain and stuff these posts somewhere in that thread? They are both related
Those are 2 different diaphragm pumps. Depends on your carb which one to use. If you get the same ones in different materials use the rubber for non-e fuel.
I used my old rubber one...more like a plastic it seems?? There was not a black looking one in the new kit. Also see my other thread. This saw is driving me crazy. Glad I am not at the university of michigan since that word has been banned!
