There's always room for one more!
Sounds like he is really into burning wood.
And there are lots of people here that are willing to help him work out the kinks.

Yeah, Buck is a really smart individual too. Thought all the knowledge here would help him get the most out of his wood and the new insert. Now, weather he takes my advise is up to him.

Hard to move air without ducting. Lots of guys say it's easier to pull air than to push air. Remember the air in the room needs to leave the room so the new hot air you are pushing in can go in. Is there a way to cut a hole in the room somewhere and install the fan there sucking the air out of that area? Might have been a plan to install a furnace type in the basement and move the insert he had up to the 1st floor? Maybe you can run some flex ducting above the dropped ceiling? I had a Hotblast in my basement and I finally just installed ductwork to put the heat where I needed it. Middle of the house was always cooking and cold spots everywhere else.

Well, if Buck joins this sand box to play in you can advise him.

Hope he joins up! His new insert seemed like it had awful black glass and looked like a smoldering fire. When he video said he was burning a lot of wood I chuckled and thought with the green wood going in those stoves you probably are.

Butcher, give Buck a few Red Bulls before he does this again. I'm all good with information, but his dialogue was akin to listening to a buddy describe his latest divorce.
May be it's just me but, ...:picard:
