Got up today plowed snow and decided I was hungry for homemade donuts so first time making them they turned out great. My mom used to make them all the time in the winter.
Looks great, Punk! Mom used to make similar ones, she'd twist two rolls of dough into a "candy cane" and fry 'em up....then, hot out of the fryer, she'd roll them in sugar.....wow were they ever good!! You and Shelly will have to come down next month for a day when we're cooking syrup!! We'll do some firepit food!!
The donuts look good for sure! And Welcome to the club, Punk Wise! I don't think we've met. I've done a good bit of work in your area at the water plants.
Did all the Nicktown/Spangler pipe/filters . Upgraded filter/softeners last year. And did pipe work at the Northern Cambria and softener piping. Lots of chemical piping and tanks and pumps.
Man, you had me at homemade......then once I read donuts, it was all ovah. One small detail seems missing...where's the coffee?
Speaking of donuts, thank God that my son discovered that making donuts is more fun than sledding. Sledding is too hard on this old man.
the only donuts I tried making turn out to be like hockey pucks. I think I over kneaded them and then over cooked them.
