I found this in my grandfathers shop, he passed away 20 years ago. My grandmother is moving into a home and we are trying to sell some stuff. I'm not sure if it runs, I didn't try it today. I was thinking about buying it from her but not sure. Either way what do you guys think would be a fair price? Running and not running.
IMHO, a non-runner would be about $55 .... runner $115. This would presume that it needs nothing more than a general clean up and chain sharpening.
One of my all time favorites ! I've had 10 of them I bet by now ! Great Firewood cutter......but does vibrate the hands pretty good ! A great one for the shelf....and for taking out on special occasions. I think since it has its case...I bet I could get $85 to $125 for it if it ran . Not running....as stated above ..$50. BUT..... I'd give $100 for it no matter what if it were me ....since it would help grandma !
One sold on the bay yesterday for $35 + shipping.Looked good but needed a little work.... Homelite Super EZ Automatic chainsaw with 16" bar needs repair Model Profile: E-Z AUTO
I have a blue EZ and a second(?) gen Super EZ. (All red with a metal starter cover). Very cool little saws.
I was never able to get more than $50. for one of these on the bay.....and they were real nice ones that ran........looks like the rear rubber grip is missing from yours, quite sure they came with one originally....
If it was my grandfathers saw i wood buy it at what she wonted for it and be over the moon Clean it up and get it running and enjoy it PS it looks VERY NICE
