started about 2 weeks ago. All Home Depot’s in my area went from being pretty well stocked to absolutely nothing. Wonder if they’re storing them. And now my local TSC same thing. They had at least 20 ton last week and nothing today. And then there’s Lowe’s who has Pellets and plenty of them at every store. I’m still sitting on 2 1/2 ton but never to early to start the hunt
huh...interesting.....I guess they don't care much about supplying their loyal customers in early Spring? This isn't anything new. And it isn't because the pellet mills and wholesalers don't have any. Possibly check out a local retailer? We aren't local to you, but still manage to have stock in 8 or our 10 brands......I imagine its the same in your area.
I have a ton of LGs and a ton of spruce point with about another 25 bag mix of Somerset’s, Maine woods and turmans so I’m just looking for a a few bags for the spring and early fall so I don’t have to burn thru my better stuff.
CM I stopped at TSC on the way home to pickup dog food. They are out of pellets, so I asked are they getting any more, since it’s still cold out for some time to come. She said yes, they are getting more pellets, just waiting for the truck to arrive.
Apparently the decision when to stop stocking them is up to each individual store manager’s discretion. Curious now, so will report back if the local store actually does get any more or not.
Local HD is about out. Lowes has plenty of not worth buying and TSC has similar(mostly craprans)......... Luckily we have plenty!!
I ran out at the end of March. I bought a few extra bags a number of weeks ago when we took a ride to NH. Just burning on the cooler nights now. It wasn't worth getting an extra ton this year.
My local farm supply store is selling Granulco right now for $4.99/bag, just like last year. Not the greatest pellet but they will do in a pinch. Fortunately I don't need any.
WTF $7.50 for Lig's with a 5 bag limit ..... I guess they are flying off the shelf , can't keep them in stock
Since its a 5 bag limit likely due to stock level, they are making sure that the store still makes the same $$ as if they sold 8-10 bags. Just like in the new Rosanne episode when Dan comes in with their meds. Rosanne-"Where's the rest of the meds?" Dan-"Under the new plans we pay twice the price for half the meds, so I had to pick which ones we could actually afford to get"
