    Whilst we were on a 2 week trip Chipdrop hit me again, actually 3 more times! Ash and hickory again! There's a bunch of cutting, splitting and stacking in my future. Unfortunately, the weather isn't doing me any favors; it's going to be in the mid 90's for the next 10 days. I may not start on this until mid September.

    I've never seen anyone run a chainsaw while in a pool. :rofl: :lol:that's the only way I'd be processing wood in the heatwave we have.

    From the swamp is where a lot of the red maple I burned last Winter came from. I've been tempted to buy hip boots because the swamp just never freezes over well enough to work on the ice in the Winter to get some firewood out.
