THE PROBABILITY OF WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.

RAINFALL AND URBAN AREA BLOCKED STORM DRAINS COULD LEAD TO

ESPECIALLY NEAR THE LAKE SHORES... NIAGARA FRONTIER AND THE SAINT

It's the same up here today, I'm not sure what we'll get from this storm.

They've been wrong a lot this year on how much rain we'll get from certain storms, the forecast seem to be on the high end when talking about how much rain will fall.

I couldn't agree more. Seems like the more "technical" things get, more "off" they are.

Today they're calling for about an inch of rain with 20-30 mph gust on Wednesday.

The problem with accuweather is they said we would get lots of rain from this too. However, that system looks like it will be way too far east to affect us much. In addition, they talked about all that rain but in the specific forecast, they said, just a little rain or showers. They do this a lot so they make themselves unbelievable. But then, if weather does not affect the NE, they are somewhat lost. They should perhaps stick with forecasting just for the NE.

This is what I mean. They talked about all the rain coming but here they say, "Cloudy with a shower or two." Then the next day, "A shower; windy, cooler." Does not sound like much rain there. Looks like a fairly mild week coming up though.

We'll see if we get the 30-40 with some sites saying gust over 50 mph this afternoon and Wednesday.

GUSTY SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER
NORTHERN NEW YORK AND MUCH OF VERMONT WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND
NIGHT. WIND GUSTS IN THE 35 TO 45 MPH RANGE CAN BE EXPECTED DURING
THIS TIME PERIOD...ESPECIALLY IN AND AROUND THE NORTHERN
ADIRONDACKS OF NEW YORK AND THE GREEN MOUNTAINS OF VERMONT. EVEN
STRONGER WINDS ARE EXPECTED ABOVE 4000 FEET...WHERE WIND GUSTS
SHOULD REACH OVER 50 MPH. THE GUSTY WINDS MAY CAUSE TREES OR POWER
LINES TO COME DOWN AND CREATE INTERRUPTIONS IN POWER. WINDS WILL
NOT BE AS STRONG ON THURSDAY...BUT GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS OVER
NORTHERN NEW YORK MAY REACH INTO THE 30 TO 40 MPH RANGE DURING THE
    AFTERNOON HOURS.

They say it will start around noon on Wednesday, we have a wind advisory on for this area.
A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 31 TO 39 MPH, OR
WIND GUSTS FROM 46 TO 57 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN
MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE
    EXTRA CAUTION.
