    Saving a little bit of hickory for smoking wood. All bark removed and split down to about 10“ lengths 2x2". Also built a drying rack out of some scrap pallets.

    pretty nifty drying rack there GrJfer! Is that the last of the hickory you mentioned last night?

    No I still have some left. Been a very wet spring, and the heat has been brutal this summer. About half of what's pictured here is left to split.
