I ran windows defender and I'm running Malware Bytes along side too. Went back to old reliable SpyBot and it's still here.

I cannot identify any suspicious programs in Programs and Features under control panel except, the install dates for MS Office Professional are wrong, that's been installed for awhile, and why does it say Chrome was installed recently too? (maybe updates?)

I looked in Chrome Extensions but only see 3 legitimate ones.

    Any help appreciated.

Are you sure its windows defender and not a popup designed to look like it?

I'm sorry for the mixed up sentence, I should have said I ran Windows Defender, MalwareBytes, and Spybot. Also downloaded and ran MalwareBytes Adwcleaner, no success.

I picked it up off the internet. A site said click here to verify you are a person and not a robot to see the article I wanted to read. And unfortunately I did.

Check your chrome extensions-- I think you may have installed one judging by that screen shot.

Thanks Adam :) Only 3. I think these are legit, but removing them just incase. I don't use them anyway.

No luck yet. One came up while booting my computer this morning, I had not opened Chrome yet. Clever ads, now my "payment information has been leaked", and or I could claim $42,000 :picard:instead of "you have 3 viruses"

Try launching msconfig and uncheck things in startup. You can always check them again if its something important.
