    Hello
I just filled the hopper with a full bag of pellets and started closing the glass lid when I felt it slide back and not latch easily? The all of a sudden I saw the right bolt that holds the lid on had just fallen off! Oh no!
Then I saw it, boy was I lucky! It fell after I dumped the bag of pellets in, right on the top! See pic 1.
    Has this happened to you?
I then noticed the left bolt was very loose also!
So I took them out and found a nice set of Stainless Steel round Phillips head nuts and bolts WITH C lock washers and installed them. The lock washers will really help them from getting loose! I did keep the OEM neoprene washer under the bolt head to protect the glass.
    Any comments?

I thought we were gouging in that other thread?

Here it sounds like supply and demand. You demand the original style bolts and Lousyweather supplies them... At a price.

Good catch. It's hard to tell the size from the picture but those OEM bolts look like some hockey helmet bolts....but they're not cheap either. [IMG]

The good thing is that you do NOT Have to Use those OEM bolts when the standard 10-24 fit and actually hold longer and better when lock washers are used too! Sure they look nice but looks are not everything.
