On Monday there was a tree crew bringing down a HUGE dead ash in the cemetery that borders my property. Ask, and you shall receive. They brought all the straighter and perfect size logs over to my property with the skid steer. I am thinking a good 3 cords worth. That pile goes back about 15 feet. All delivered on my birthday. What a gift. And to top off the day, the wife even cooked me an amazing dinner ( she cooks about once every 2 months). Unfortunately I get to cook most of the time due to her work schedule. Now I have to start cooking up some split ash for 2 years from now.
Wow. Has anyone here ever gotten a "You Suck" award, on their birthday? Yup - never hurts to ask. I did the same thing a couple of years ago, and got about a cord of ash from across the street. It'll be keeping me warm this year. Like a moth to the flame... Happy Birthday!
Great gift! Did the tree crew sing "Happy Birthday"? You can produce you own candles in the stove, just dont try blowing them out! Food looks good, but ill pass on the brussel sprouts! Happy belated birthday btw!
Cheesy potato bake. Wife doesn't cook much. Of course all her ideas come from the internet. Some of them a bit crazy, but I will never complain or not eat when she does cook.
