Sorry if it's out there but I'm bug eyed from reading and searching, not finding info so have to ask...what's the current opinions/ratings on Hamer Freedom pellets? Lignetics have been terrible this year...green and gold, sad. East coast - MD, DE & VA have slim pickings for DECENT pellets. Worse here on the Eastern Shore of MD. Thanks for your input!

Have never seen them or tried them before but did find this review on youtube , not sure how much it will help as 1. he does not speak 2. do not think he does much maintance on his stove 3. looks like they are producing alot of ash but then again its hard to tell as his maintance is lacking and its hard to tell whats there before his burn.
Looks like they kick a good flame in his Harman and would probably be worth testing a few bags , from the video if I were to guess they might be just a tad bit better than what you have been burning .

"Less than 1% is lot more ash than it sounds like. Lot more. A good douglas fir is less than 0.25.

Might get a bit more heat out of the Hamers but I don't think you will see much difference in ash compared to ligs. If you can grab a few bags it's worth trying them though.

Thanks but that video is Freedom Fuel - to my understanding not the same as the American Freedom that Hamer bags. Also a different bag in that video.

Ah very well then and I apologize sincerely but am not surprised as what happens when you rise at 3AM and deal and have a stressful well extremely stressful day at work and jump on the forum with good intentions but are not yet back to earth .....
Wish you the best of luck and am really hoping they are better than what you have burned previously.

Thats the PFI standard measure for premium pellets. Likely about half that for Hamers.

They should be very close to the Hamer hot ones we see up north. I highly doubt they are changing anything up besides the bag.

Hamers have had good results, But there also have been a few bad runs as well. Best bet is to see if you can get a half dozen or so and Test them out if possible. If not, I doubt they will be any worse than Lig's. Likely better IMHO.
