Thought about building one too like that. Have the lumber, just haven't got around to it yet. Also have a spool I just might use too but need to get a stool made.

All I have is 185gr tc reloads for my .45s IMG_20210402_181224.jpg
They shoot very well in the sds
    No feeding issue's
Usually if a 1911 is going to jam
It's tc hollow points that does it. IMG_20210402_150232.jpg
My friends gi 1911 springfield IMG_20210402_153603.jpg
His rock island officerish sized .45
I prefer the sds pistols Personally
But this one seems well made IMG_20210402_161641.jpg
    He picked up this .40
    Appears to be unfired.

I built a couple metal benches a few year back. I could get pics and measurements if you're interested.
My old pc crashed so might take a bit.

    Quite similar to this

I've got a smaller one for the same idea but it might be Too small unless I built a little outward for the rifle rest. That idea was probably the best one I could find. They make some cool sturdy benches sold at stores this beats them for character.

Taurus released the GX4 9mm this week
I stopped by my local gunshop
To see if they had one.
    They didn't IMG_20210520_162516.jpg
But they did finally get a TX .22 in
    With thumb safetys
It's been over 8 months since they've had one.
I like them for thumb rests
    So I bought it.
It's got the same excellent trigger imho
As my non safety version. IMG_20210520_182318.jpg
    Got some ammo too.

This makes the 5th one I've shot
All have been very accurate for me personally.
    I normally shoot plate rack
    And these are fun
No recoil and I can't remember a stoppage of any kind with
    Good ammo
    Remington golden bullet not included
    They suketh
Lots of dead primers wouldn't fire in any gun
    Get one you'll like it.
My great niece loves it and the much smaller
    M&P compact .22
Bug it's 100 or so more.
Actually they are very close in weight.
