So I finally found a guy in town that will sharpen my 32” square filed chain! Nobody else would even think about it.

He called today and said he’s done. I asked how much he said $5.30! Holy cow $5.30 for a 32” chain! Think I’m going to have to leave him a good tip. Not sure how he makes a living with prices so low.

I’m very confident he will have it just right. He was very knowledgeable about saw chains.

That sounds like a great deal. I have no clue how to sharpen a chain, but the Stihl Rep I brought my saw from said they will sharpen my chains on my MS250 for $8.00 each and I thought that was a good deal.

Finally got some pics of my now sharp 32” chain. Not bad for $5.30, I paid him $10 and it’s well worth it. He converted it from square to round which is what I wanted. Now I can hand file and touch up as needed. I’m definitely going back if I rock a chain or need one dialed in real good!

Bet i know how he does it, #1 he's good at what he does, # 2 he don't go crazy on the sharpening, and burn the chain up, #3 he's considerate that chains cost a lot of money, so why burn them up, or over sharpen them? Treat him right, guys like that are worth their weight in gold/ cords of wood,
