    Especially, when you forget to pack a lunch. My boys are busting their humps this summer and dad forgot to throw lunch into the cooler. Luckily there were quite a few blackberries available to tide us over until supper.

    I did the same thing last week working in our daughters back yard, ate black berry's that is, lol. No wood cutting yet, she's supposed to have some more oak's dropped and a lone dead fir.

    Although.. I have read/heard of animals eating the placenta after birth for the reason you noted.
