Good morning cutting, uncle is clearing some field edges. This row is mostly cherry. A few oak and ash there too. This load is mostly cherry with one oak and two ash. Easy load too, dropped and limbed then he pushed all the brush aside and loaded the poles with a bobcat. Gonna be going back for more as soon as I can.

I dumped the load off and will cut it on the ground probably using the cant hook.
I did mess the trailer up though after posting. Slid on ice and trailer slid out the side. Took it over to the welders shop to fix the bent piece, so will be a few days till I get back out.

But it's so much warmer there, actually I was pretty warm today. Ended up taking my gloves hat and coat off. Was a lot of fun dropping so many trees in a short time.

We should go out together. We are prob equal distance away. Will give us some practice for the GTG ;) Maybe Carbine can make it as well :)

Swags place is where our GTG is being held this year. Try to make it out if you can. It's May 17th. But many of us are making an entire weekend out of it (show up Fri and leave Sun.

I'd say he has plenty of logs to get. Plus, the greener they are? The easier on the chains they'll be.

I'm taking a week of vacation after the GTG. So I can even stay Sunday night to help clean up or go cut more wood :thumbs:
