Got Beech Leaf Disease in my area

    I just became aware of it but apparently it’s been around for 2 years. Saw this today while out walking the puppy.

    The Beech Bark disease has done a number on them, this looks like it can finish the job. Too bad as Beech is an important mast tree.

    Beech seems to have had many attacks over the last few years. Michigan has lost a huge share of the beech trees. Fortunately it has not hit our area but then, we no longer have big stands of it; just a few scattered trees here and there. we have only young ones on our land.
