Thought I'd seen all of em... but this vid had some new ones. Valuable lessons to learn from most of these mishaps... always fun.

Those were pretty good for a laugh. I like the ones where one guy is holding on to a rope thinking he is going to pull the tree over the opposite of the lean.

I have felled a few tricky trees and thought I was being over cautious but after watching that video I no longer will think that.

It's 100% always worth the money, no matter what, to hire pros to do the big stuff... when it sits beside power lines or structures especially. There's bold tree cuttahs and old tree cuttahs... but no old bold tree cuttahs... ;)... some of these guys in the vid didn't survive... no doubt beat to death by their wives... :heidi:

This is why I only cut in the middle of the forest...where I can't hurt anything...

Usually mine just lean over and hang on the tree next to it...;)

Always good to see what NOT to do. Painful to watch, however. I always try to remember - gravity sucks!

Really bugs me when people think it's ok to cut huge limbs from a step ladder.

No fv€£ing chit! If you saw that cone topping from 3:16-3:30 with that saw going around him like a damm ball on a string going around your finger, oh my! I was laughing hysterically but also yelling at myself like “this is real life?!?!?” Man stuff gets tighter than a snare drum seeing a saw just whip around that damm fast.

You know I had to wonder if someone was wax philosophical here but maybe we’ll see how some of these guys feel if they knew they were going to be videotaped and then watched it. I’m looking for their response: “I’m not reproducing I’m not reproducing..” ad finitum.

    That's how I work too.

That Geo metro getting smashed was hilarious.

I'm wondering about the guy that tried to outrun the falling tree.
