    Hello
The other day we picked up 2 approx 3lb Boneless Pork Butts @ Market Basket for $1.99 lb Reg $2.59 lb
This is my first try with the Green Mountain Grill’s Daniel Boone Prime Plus AKA Ledge Prime wood pellet smoker using dual meat probes. :) I always put 18” wide Reynolds wrap over the drip pan and spray the grill with the Weber grill spray and use a foil drip bucket liner
After startup ignition the grill comes up to 150 Deg F. Then I set the grill for a nice slow cook @ 230 Degs until the inside of the meats are 145 Degs That took 3 hours & 7 mins to perfection!
    The rub consisted of:
    Onion Powder
    Garlic Powder
    Oregano
    A dash of smoked Paprika
After 2.5 hours I added the sauce on the top and bottom:
Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey BBQ Sauce
Then every half hour or so I gave them a spray of good ole Motts Apple Juice in a small spray bottle to keep it nice and moist.
You really cannot go wrong with the meat probes and the temperature did not vary much between them. See pics
Zucchini from the garden and home made potato salad was the icing on the cake. :)

    Nice?
    Tasty looking?
    Question mark?

Pro tip- if you’re making a post from a PC, there’s inevitably an alt code for the “°” symbol or if from a phone, a shortcut to the same.

Thanks for posting good looking din-din pics Don?

Just was not sure how the dual meat probes would work out?
Looks like it worked fine. :)

don2222 i have the exact same smoker , couldn’t be more happy with it. Your pork looks good!

my temp settings got changed to Celsius when I had to update my firmware when I got a new phone. Any idea how to switch it back to Fahrenheit?
