Getting ready to build a new hearth to replace the old smoke dragon in the basement. It will be replaced with a Jotul Castine unit.

Boy that thing is pretty! Is that the old smoke dragon I see in the background? What are you gonna do with it? I am planning on swapping my old smokey out this season with an osburn 2200 I picked up used. I might hold on to the old woodstove and maybe put it in my garage for occasional heat or something.

That old smoke dragon is going to be turned in for scrap. It has been over fired, the air control no longer works and it has broken fire brick. Parts are no longer available for it and it is un-safe to operate
