I was returning from an errand this afternoon. Im stopped at a light. Turns green, i turn the corner and theres a couple logs next to the curb...another case of FHC whiplash. Couldnt see them while at the light. One was locust! Looked small enough to maybe grab or so i thought. The rain had stopped and i didnt have a saw with me in the PU, but bed was empty. I turned around at the next street and went back to investigate while laughing at what a coincidence this is. Had to take pics...too funny! The log was too big to load as is. No room for me to pull over close and use a saw plus a VERY busy intersection otherwise i would go back. Cars stopped for the light mustve thought i was nuts (i am but in a good way) taking pics of a log and a street sign!
Its KILLING me as i type knowing its sitting there! AND ive been on a locust frenzy the last month! Ten minutes from me. Just too dangerous!
BuZZsaw I got a call today from a tree service customer while I was at job A he asked if he could dump some wood at my shop he could not get in his yard because of the mud he said I could have the wood if I could help him out I thought about it for a millisecond and said sure look what I came home to
“Braddd, Help Me Braddd,, I’m cold and lonely Brad, take me for a ride in your truck Brad. It’s dark out here Brad. You heartless bastard. What’s worse is now I’ll spend the night searching the nearby towns for Locust streets.
I can picture Brad tightly gripping the steering wheel, slowing driving away and looking in his rear view mirror
Hey JB Sawman is that all LOCUST? I'm no expert but it looks like LOCUST to me, is it LOCUST? Look at all that LOCUST !
...that wouldve been my reaction to finding that. I get excited over one small locust log in a massive tangle. You should post a thread of your own JB Sawman With a load like that it well deserves it!
I went that way again this afternoon and locust log was still there. Im devising a plan...cant leave it there as jo191145 said!
