I picked up a 34 ton (rented) splitter to take care of a few piles, 90 degree days and splitting don't go together. I filled up a few totes.
When it comes time to get the wood out of those metal cubes---which seem like a great idea---what do you do? tip them on their sides or lower a small child down on a hoist to retrieve a couple chunks...
These are pretty cool containers, Im sure leoht could shed some light on the ease of wood removal in these. He doesn't seem to use anything else other than these containers in as far as his posts go...
Long arms help! So does a small pickaroon. Small stuff can be removed trough the holes in the cage. The biggest hole is where the outlet originally was positioned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Why? Do you just feel you need that size? Again, I would ask why when a 20 ton will do just as well. But, folks tend to think bigger is better.
