Thanks to my BIL we'll be having fresh striper tonight for dinner! He caught this guy last night and gave it to me.

Don't mind my mildewy filet board lol. I cleaned it after the pic.

I hear there's schoolies in the Cape Cod area. I just might need to take a ride. About an hour's ride.

I find that striped bass has a stronger fish taste than I prefer. But, they sure are fun to catch.

My brother and I annually go on a fishing party boat, out of Hyannis, mid-June. We always catch our limit of black Sea bass, which is 5 keepers . The way things are looking, we're going to have to take a pass on the fishing trip this year.

Well Seasoned it was pretty tasty!

MikeInMa i don't think they're too fishy but of course everyone's got different tastes. And yes they're fun to catch! Like Well Seasoned said them and blues. We got into some gators last year. Catchin 10-15lb blues all day!

Not much of a shad run down here but guys catch em from time to time. Weakfish have been making a pretty good comeback though!

You guys are lucky to have that option.

If it was me, I'd need another garage for another boat!

We had a 20' center console for a few years but then the kids came along and we sold it and bought a camper.

I think that probably, and I'm just guessing here, that the boat was better in the water than the camper? :rofl:
