I could ... manage to resist, that is. Dude's got major cojones using "cottonwood" and "firewood" in one sentence. Guess they're unfamiliar with trees in Ellis KS, or think that cottonwood is a (real) tree.
I don't really have a problem with the ad. People get angry when sellers sell fresh wood as seasoned (rightfully so), you can't also be mad when they're honest and tell you it's fresh cut If it's a good price, wouldn't be a bad deal for a burner short on wood. Cottonwood dries QUICK
Some do burn cottonwood, thats true. Most folks around here and anywhere leave it for maybe the zombie apocolypse. I just thought selling it for .60$ each was pretty funny. Can you imagine unloading that... "401,402,403, 400 oh crap, do you remember where we were?"
I was wondering about that An odd way to sell wood for sure. I've always thought that about the 10 dollar stacks you see at the end of people's driveways this time of year. The "splits" barely qualify as kindling since it's by number not by volume. And yet people but that way every year. I don't get it
