    Hi All,

Have been away for quite a bit.
WE are hitting a cold winter and just run out of stoves.
Did a 3 day run over to the factory a couple of weeks ago to check on the progress of the new Italian Ceza controls. All is good. I took over 20kgs of Aussie wheat to test but the Chinese customs hoons stopped me. Not wishing to spend days in a Chinese jail I just let them chuck it, bugger.
Cant believe the flight deal I got; Melbourne - Xi'an - Ningbo return for $270!!! God bless internet search sites..
    Got a few photos for youse.. not in any particular order as that is beyond my computer skills;

    Pic list.
    1) My poor old truck being towed off after smacking into a kangaroo. Cause $18,000 damage behind the grill, got insurance phew.
    2) Cute little electric renta cars are everywhere in China and man do they scoot. At least 40mph.
    3) Dinner and show (sort of)- in the town square of Ningbo China.
    4) $10 seafood platter. 0.5liter beer is 80 cents.
    5) Going biking with the lads, my FJR is up the back. Would love to have the Goldwing bagger in the front but the pennies don't stretch that far.
    6) Couple of different stoves being tested just to uphold the stove theme.
    7) Photo from a customer with the settings all wrong. Check out the heat in that cast stainless pot....Look out shees gunna blow!! DSC_1119.JPG DSC_1139.JPG DSC_1165.JPG DSC_1169.JPG DSC_1074.JPG DSC_1234.JPG mms_20170602_200309.jpg k out

I like China but only in small doses. A week is good but half a week is even better. Been 4 times over the last few years. Suppliers get offended if you don't keep visiting them. This trip was different though, I wanted to be sure the new stove controls worked properly rather than end up with a container of scrap metal. Pretty cheap insurance for $270 I reckoned.
Going for a 10 day, late 20th anniversary trip, to Italy in September. THe stove control guy from near Florence wants me to visit but I am not sure I can con the missus into mixing holidays with stoves.....would be treading a dangerous path.

Hey ChickenMan - Glad to have you back on the forum!
Nice Pics glad to see them!
I built a new stove workshop and just had some drywall and paint put in. Here are some pics!
Installing a TV wall mount bracket? Anyone do this?
A few months ago I had some in depth training and got certified on some new high tech pellet stoves with WiFi and built in diagnostics that Napoleon in Canada is importing into North America and the model name is the same as the Region in Italy where they are Manufactured.

    Hey Don,
Good to hear you are busy as always.
Pretty slick lookin stoves ya got there.
WE are only dealing with the control manufacturer, Ceza, not a stove manufacturer. Looking at the controls on your stoves the display looks like the same 2 line unit so they may come from the same place. We are using a simpler set of controls I think as it is called the "Baby unit" but it is still pretty tricky to do the initial set up to run the stoves. We will get there with a bit of practice.
