Its the same song and dance with me. Still floating around stove ideas and stacking wood. Now im interested in a free standing stove in a existing fireplace. Any input or pictures of this setup would be great.

Im looking at the woodstock stoves. I know they are highly rated and great stoves. I would install a block off plate to get as much heat out into the room as possible. But at the same time would not have it fully out of the fireplace. I understand how this would eat away at some of my heat into the room but hopefully with a well placed fan and heat shield it still would work well. Thanks for any input.

I looked at the Lopi's when I was in the stove market originally but my clearances wouldn't let it happen.
Have you got a range of stove's that will(or maybe) fit the space?
Settled on the Clydesdale here as it gave a nice view(GF's only requirement), holds a good bit of wood, fit my space - it was pricey but hasn't missed a beat other than door gasket
