When I bought my newest splitter three years ago I wasn't impressed with the Briggs engine that came on it. After using it for the tandem load of logs I decided to change it out for a Honda and wrote here about it at the time. The engine's been sitting in my garage the last couple of years...along with a Troy Bilt tiller I bought used about ten years ago that the engine was no good.
So I put two and two together and made a working tiller. I test drove it by tilling my garden a week ago and it worked great. Put it on Kijiji for $1,000 firm and sold it tonight after work. He's happy, I'm happy.

I have the exact same tiller that I bought new 30 years ago and it's still working great too.
Here's the one I just sold.

The old engine that came off it has no compression but has many parts that will fit mine so I'm keeping it for parts.
Have more room in the garage now too.

That tiller is in mint shape. Most I see are really banged up.
    Good deal for sure.

That worked out pretty good and with some good improving. Made some money and made some more room.
