Saw this on Bailey's site. A lot of people use the X27. http://www.baileysonline.com/shop.a...3CE3FC&trk_contact=8N8404687U0JB6IPHKST8GJOQG
I think that is the regular price at you local discount big box store...not that I advocate shopping at them, cause I avoid them if at all possible.
For a bit more, these are supposed to be excellent according to some online reviews. http://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?category_id=279&item=1577
It's $48 on Amazon Prime 2-day delivery. http://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-7884-...F8&qid=1407779178&sr=8-1&keywords=fiskars+x27
I just ordered one off of amazon, really excited to try it out! The reviews I've read say it's better than using an axe or maul.
Same price here. http://azombieblog.com/store/product/zombie-weapon-review-fiskars-7884-x27-super-splitting-axe/ Actually, it takes you to Amazon. Lots of good info here though
I've been debating one of these, probably one finest splitting axes I have seen, the handles are replaceable too and can be had in fiberglass. http://www.amazon.com/Helko-Vario-H...06301470&sr=8-11&keywords=heavy+splitting+axe
Got the info from Bailey's as well. Prices were the same at George Kahler Sales, and shipping was 1/3 less. Waiting for the 4 pounder to arrive.
Decent review on helko products. http://rockymountainbushcraft.blogspot.com/2012/04/helko-vario-2000-convertible-axe-system.html?m=1
