Been thinking about picking one of these up. Anybody have one? If so likes and dislikes?

I bought one a few weeks ago, and glad I did. It's awesome, works just as advertised. It is a GREAT $38.00 spent- (Amazon). Really helps save your back from having to bend dawn for splits, and I have a lifted truck with full 8' bed so using the hookaroon to grab splits and pull them toward me was nice too.

    How long, Brad?
Looks like they have a few lengths. I have the 32" Pickeroon by Peavey. And , like VOLKEVIN said, it's great for unloading the truck.
I have bounced it off my shin, not as bad as Wood Duck though

Brother has a Fiskars and it appears to be well made and, of course, is very handy for unloading or any time you need to pull or lift.

I have two, and love them.
I use mine for picking up wood when stacking, and even more when moving big rounds.
I gave some short wood rounds to a friend, my son loved getting the hookaroon out and showing how easy it was to move them with it.
He's 13, and it gives him a big advantage on heavy wood

I got one for Xmas and so far so good. Seemed very useful when unloading splits from the truck yesterday. I haven't used it much to pick up rounds, I forgot to test it out when I was running the splitter yesterday.

Have had one for several months and really like it. I wish they made a 36” one. I would buy that in a heartbeat. I just bought this one last week as a birthday present for myself.
IMG_5861.JPG . Haven’t really had a chance to you it, but it is significantly heavier than the Fiskars. And the tip is a bit dull. I imagine I will need to sharpen the point of it will be a useful tool.

I wish Fiskars made a 36”. The longest they make is the 28”. It’s great, though. I bought the other one in the pic because I wanted a 36” pickaroon.
