I’ve searched without success for any pictures or diagrams showing how to terminate the end of the chain on the right of the inserts surround. Did Fisher use a large split ring like a key ring or some other configuration. Without something outside the surround attached to the chain it could slip back behind the surround and create a big problem As always I value your opinions and experience relating to these older stoves.
