Okay, that's more what I was expecting. The house looks good, lot of work I'll bet.

I plan on adding an addition that was originally going to be a 1 vehicle garage . But I've since decided it will be a living room, guest bedroom and bath.
As the tall wall faces due south, where the sun rises and sets this time of year. I always planned on a dropped gable roof. = 2 opposing shed roofs , 1 lower than the other. I did 90+% of the work myself this past summer and fall. With being kinda 1 armed. It was embarrassingly slow production. Message_1601165164921.jpg

Impressive. Is there a loft area?

No loft. The house is small at this point. Not that it will be Big in the future, but it will be big enough for us. At this point it's 550 sq ft. With the 12' wide addition will be 970 sq.ft.
Originally the house was going to be 2 story. When I got hurt I changed the plan to a single story. But still planned on the attached garage. Since then I decided we needed more garage space so I will build a stand alone 2 vehicle garage. And the house addition. Lord willing.
My goal for 2021 is to get the house finished and build the garage. 2022 is the house addition year. Hopefully !
The tall wall/high ceiling is to make a small house not feel so cramped AND to get the windows as high as I can to catch the winter sunlight.

That sounds like a well thought out plan. Slow production is better than no production.

How is the floor insulated? Guessing it would be freezing cold if it isn't? Keep up the good work!
