The Menallen Friends Meeting at 1107 Carlisle road in Biglerville has a large tree that has fallen across their drive. I'm told this is a red oak and very large. The Meeting is offering the wood up to anyone willing to do the removal work. PM me and I can put you in touch with them.

Oh yeah... notice the teeny Honda in the background. I was told at that spot they counted 199 rings. They will more than likely want a witness sections, which I’d be more that happy to oblige.
Nah, hope it works out...seems like a win-win to me. The witness section would be cool...that Meeting has been around since 1748 and I believe the house was purpose built as a Quaker meeting house in the 1880s, def some history there.
