Between work and the 6 month old son I haven't touched my pile yet this spring. Got a couple hours today to work. Didn't get as much as I wanted done but seldom do. Filled any spaces I had in my racks that were already there and then put together that monstrosity of a pallet rack. I know the wife is gonna hate it but she'll get over it. Maybe I'll try and dress it up with some flower boxes or something. Any ideas? Hopefully I can get if filled in the next couple weeks but it's slow going as everything I have is like 20 plus inches and has to be bucked to size before it's split, what a PITA. Have a great Easter everyone.

Put some wheels on it and take your son for a pushcart ride. Happy easter bud!

If dressing up a wood pile would make your wife happier, there is nothing wrong with it. It would be easy to do as brenndatomu suggests but also would be very easy to place a few boxes on the top of the piles and plant flowers in them. That would certainly be less expensive than buying flowers that are already grown but it does take some time to get the flowers up to bloom stage. So perhaps buying a few plant; a few on ends and a few scattered along the top might work wonders for the Mrs.

Trust me, putting flowers on my wood racks is not a priority nor something she suggested, just thought it would be nice gesture seeing as how my obsession is getting a little crazy.

Sure, but thinking outside the "box" might catch her soooo off guard, she could end up letting you stack it to the street out front!
