New at a Stihl dealer is less than $200 out the door. Got mine on sale for $170 back in April.
Im tempted to contact the guy and offer him mine for $200!

I found a used MS250 on EBAY for over $300, I left him a message telling him I paid a little less for mine new. He gave me some wise guy answer. Turns out he’s an OPE dealer in NY state and took it on trade.

Around here the postings for creamsicle prices seem to follow the gold market prices. I’ve seen guys try to get $300 for a 170!!!! Just because you’re stupid doesn’t mean I’ll make up the difference for your stupidity.

I just see a big blank space between Brad’s sentences, but judging from the replies, it is similar to what I see here, especially on CL.

I see Used Husqvarna 240’s for $200+, the New MSRP is $179.95. There was one just this week on either CL or OfferUp for $220, and the bar showed that it had a LOT of use.

I was Very Tempted to msg the seller and ask what made their saw worth $40 more than a Brand New saw, but I expected the Smart A$$ response, so I didn’t bother

At least around here, it isn’t just the Creamsicles that seem to appreciate faster than New

    Doug
