Amazing what people try to sell. Hey, for $40 I’ll let you clean my yard!

I think the brush is obscuring the trunk, or maybe they want you to pay them to clean up the brush. You’d think they would snap a pic of the trunk wood.

If they're around me I'll send them an itemized estimate for travel mileage, chipping/removal & dumping fee. Man do some of these dimwits get hot under the collar. Great fun on a cold winter evening lol.

I had one that I looked at this week. The pic looked promising. When I got there I found you had to go down a very steep hill a few hundred yards off the road. I didn't get out to look. The trunk was pretty massive, likely 40"+. The lady said don't tear up the yard, it's really soft. No way in the world I'm schlepping logs on my back and I can't bring any equipment in. But it was free so...

Yep, free to rot where it lays. If you search around here a bit, there's quite a few of these threads. It's amazing what people will ask to get done free or even try to get someone to pay for the privilege of doing work for them. Some of it's pretty comical.

There was another lady with this huge twisted white pine offering it for free for a town that wants a big Xmas tree.

Maybe I can gather up some Wyoming tumble weeds and advertise them for 40 bucks. I can call them Wyoming Christmas trees.
