Anybody ever hear of Timber Ridge chain? Decent quality or TriLink or lower quality? Thanks.
There is a review on AS that has four or five opinions on the timber ridge chains being decent quality. I have never heard of timber ridge products, before seeing this post a few minutes ago.
I’m just worried about quality. I’ve tried other less expensive chain and to me most was a waste of money.
Seems Timber Ridge and Sunbelt Outdoors are the same company.
Also seems John Deere just aquired Sunbelt.
I tried cheaper chains to see what I thought, as they weren't much money. They cut ok, but dont stay sharp too long. They stretch like crazy when new too! The one on my saw right now, I put it on and tightened it, ran it for 2 minutes and had to readjust. A minute or two later it actually slung the chain off the bar it was so loose.
Same experience I’ve had with the cheap stuff. No good replies yet so I guess I’ll just pass.
