After work yesterday, we decided to go riding the Honda SxS. Good way to cool off after a hot day. 20240609_194613.jpg
    On the dirt roads 20240609_194632.jpg
    20240609_194827.jpg
    Our first wildlife encounter...
    A nice size Nope Rope
    20240609_193924.jpg
Very much alive and well 20240609_194046.jpg
    11 rattles and a button 20240609_194242.jpg
A mimosa tree in bloom, another invasive species from Japan, I think. 20240609_195205.jpg
A small country church a few miles from home 20240609_195453.jpg
On another dirt road, we found a sun baked armadillo... 20240609_195552.jpg
And an active kaolin pit mine 20240609_195654.jpg
    Another country church... 20240609_195851.jpg
Explored another dirt road...found this massive clear cut 20240609_200638.jpg
And another kaolin mine, just beginning to mine this one... 20240609_201051.jpg 20240609_201054.jpg
Old house that is now used for a hunting camp... 20240609_202100.jpg
Finally saw more wildlife, deer in the road... 20240609_202327.jpg
    And in a cotton field,
    20240609_203205.jpg 20240609_202813.jpg
This was a 200 acre field, before pines were planted on part of it. 20240609_203235.jpg
38-40 yrs ago, I spent many hrs warming a tractor seat plowing corn and soybeans for my cousin here.
You can see more of the field behind the pile of chicken litter 20240609_203106.jpg
We stopped by a friend's house on the way back. 20240609_203842.jpg
    Probably rode close 15-18 miles.

    Nice T.Jeff Veal

Do you have to be street legal down there to ride the roads? Our lame state has made it very costly to make them legal to ride on roads. The upgrades to be legal here are another $4000+ over the units cost.

Not scared, just a strong dislike, especially if the gots built in toxin injecting devices.

They just passed a law to make them legal, don't have to have turn signals.
Windshield, seat belt, lights, insurance. We dont have the insurance yet. As long as you're riding sensible, they leave you alone. Nobody cares on the dirt roads and small paved roads.
