I have not gotten an email notification since yesterday and Even then they were running way behind. Have not got them all last evening and did not get one today although I have an alert when I click the thing on the site and have them.
Just checked and somehow my sink was turnoff. Not sure how that matters as they should still be in my email just not sending notifications to the phone. Anyway I cut it on. And there came 9 new emails from here? Wonder if it has anything to do with the new antivirus app I got? Or maybe fat fingers hit buttons?
If your Sync is off, it won't give you an update at all. Also, if you click on an email link and back out before it's loaded 100%? You won't get another notification until you check it yourself manually. Or say there is a 2nd page? You click on it? Read it. Then hit the back button twice (real fast) without it having a chance to load the 1st page again? You won't receive an email notification for that thread either. Been like that over there since the upgrade and same here. Been through 3 Android phones and all the same.
You have to do it manually? Have you been messing with your email or Internet settings? I turn mine off when we go to the Cabin in tte Summer. Keeps me off of the Net and also saves my Battery (did you do a battery saver app too?)
Downloaded AVG antivirus which has a battery feature on it. An I think I dipped below the level where it went to power save. I have a battery app already but it does not in sink The email I have run the battery, totally dead several times and never had this before. I think it has something to do with AVG?
