Having acquired a large amount of apple wood. What I would like to know from youse guys that use it is should it be green or dry? Also what size pieces do you like. I would like to sell some and would like to be well versed before I advertise. Thanks all.

Most serious smokers don’t want bark on. And me for one, doesn’t want it to be really dry. That limb wood moisture helps flavor the meat. Never took a meter to it though. I like elbow size and the heartwood of the big stuff.
