I bought this saw for the lightness. Getting older and appreciate a light saw.
    Pros:
Saw is light and is easy starting.
    Cons:
Under powered Bogged down when sawing a 10" walnut log.
Location of stop switch. I accidently hit it while sawing. Thought I had ran out of gas.

CS-310 would make a wonderful limbing saw which I believe it was met for.
For that class of saw I prefer my grandson's MS 180.

Completely agree. I got a new one for the right price, FREE, and it is good for doing small stuff. I use it for clearing deer trails and overhanging limbs.

This saw is going to have less power and weigh a lot more without a muffler mod. Not my picture below.

No way that saw is going to make decent power trying to exhaust through all that material. You can’t eat if you can’t chit. I’d recommend removing all that crap and retuning the carb. My echo pole saw and weed eater were both dogs before getting rid of the cat.
