County Highway worker came to the house and wanted an ok to cut trees close to the road. I agreed and asked to keep the wood and he told me fine and they would bring it to the house and dump it. It's mostly ash and a lot of it is dead. Doesn't get much easier than that.
I got pics but I get a security error message when I try to upload.

Does not get better than ash that size. CSS that soon and next winter you’ll have over a cord of perfect BTUs

at first glance I estimated slightly over a cord but after looking it over it may be close to 2.

WOW! Thats some nice wood and in full lengths and they didnt chip the smaller stuff. Great that you have the elbow room to dump it. Looks like some poison ivy vines, but no big deal. Reminiscent of roadside wood around here.
Great score and keep us posted.

Nice score! I’m actually starting to get the idea what Ash is when I see it on here but nothing like your bark here in WA. I know we got mountain ash but I don’t know how comparable it is... hope this stocks up your stacks a bit more!
