Had another 500’pieces of maple and beech to stack in the woodshed. It holds 3.5 cords. Daughter said she would help IF I took her shoe shopping after school. Done deal. Right half Of shed about a cord and a half dry for this season. Left side about 2 cords. Front two rows now all beech, cherry and maple since it seasons quicker. Back two rows 90% oak rest hickory. 2 and a half year plan. I also have a few cords of ash all set to go stored at my parents place upstate. Great time spent with my teenage daughter

Nah just a $70 pair of sneakers she wanted. She has a job and works hard at school. She deserved them.
You are indeed blessed sir. Keep communications going with your daughter as long as you can. My daughter & I used to do everything together she is great helper, excellent student etc. But then she met a boy that stole her heart & it has changed my relationship with her. She doesn’t have much time for mom & dad anymore. Hopefully this will change with time.
Great thread daughters are hard; and I know the boyfriend thing, BUT she is my lil girl I loved her first. IF boyfriend turns out to be man in 10 years he will hold my grand daughter and I will open a bottle at a bonfire and tell him in 15 more years he can deal with a punk like him and
