My wife is from a long line of farming families. They all this call this technique, when a handkerchief is not readily available, a "farmer blow." I have seen her do it from time to time on our walks when she does not have kleenex, or it is really cold outside. It fact she does it far more often than I do. But she would definitely not admit to anyone that she ever does it, and I would never say a word to her about it. I have learned that much :salute: .

Works for me. I only carry a hankie to wipe sawdust and raindrops off my glasses. Don't wanna blow my nose in the hankie and then wipe my glasses. :bug:

Every old timer farmer I've ever known carries a hanky to wipe sweat. Snot rocket for blowing your nose.

Just return from a trip to the drugstore.
Essential stores. What a farce, between the GVT's essential business list and the stores that believe they are essential.
    What did I observe.
Family Dollar and Dollar Tree both open. Essential? They do have small rack of canned goods is probably how they are essential.
Passed the real estate office. Landscape company spreading fertilizer on the yard. Essential? They are under agriculture.
My granddaughter works for nationwide window manufacturer. They are still making windows. They fall under construction exemption.
My son-in-law works for a land clearing and demolition company. Essential? They again fall under the construction exception.
Now for the ones I have no idea how they are essential. Show Place. They are a household rental place that prays on the young and low income people.
Goodwill, I don't know if the store was actually open to sell stuff, but they were receiving donations.
I did not go to far in town, but the only businesses I saw closed was the barbershop, beauty solon, insurance agency and restaurants serving only carry out.
The Verizon office I couldn't tell if they were open, but there were quit a few cars in their lot for just employees. Auto Parts store open.
From my short excursion to our small town, it appears darn near all businesses are "essential" and business as normal.
